Klil meets the following requirements in ensuring air free of pollution:
- By-law of the Karmiel municipality, one of the most stringent laws in Israel
- Klil was one of the first companies to sign the agreement between the Ministry of the environment and the Union of Industrialists in February 1988 regarding pollution emissions.
- The German standard TA LUFT 1986
Klil meets the following requirements in ensuring water free of pollution:
- By-law of the Karmiel municipality, one of the most stringent laws in Israel
- Directives of the Municipal Association ( Western Galilee )
- Ministry of Environment directives (northern district)
- Home Front Command directives
- In 2002, representatives of the various organizations carried out about 15 spot checks at the Klil factory, which fulfilled all requirements completely.
