The environment is the air we breathe, the water we drink and the day-to-day surroundings in which we live. Therefore, the Klil Group keeps abreast of the latest reasearch and advances in technology, enabling it to adapt its production processes to accord with new information, sparing no expense in investing in a cleaner world.

• Employment of a full-time employee to see to matters concerning the environment and safety
• Continuous search for advanced and environmentally friendly technology including participating in professional forums in Europe and the USA
• Constant dialogue with environmental non-profit organizations

• The Environmental Quality Department of the Karmiel Municipality
• Ministry of the Environment ( Jerusalem and northern district offices)
• Municipal Association ( Western Galilee )
• Ministry of Health
• Home Front Command
• The Sea and Beaches Department
• The Natural Gas Authority
• The Environmental Services Company

Klil meets the following requirements in ensuring air free of pollution:

• By-law of the Karmiel municipality, one of the most stringent laws in Israel
• Klil was one of the first companies to sign the agreement between the Ministry of the environment and the Union of Industrialists in February 1988 regarding pollution emissions.
• The German standard TA LUFT 1986

Klil meets the following requirements in ensuring water free of pollution:

• By-law of the Karmiel municipality, one of the most stringent laws in Israel
• Directives of the Municipal Association ( Western Galilee )
• Ministry of Environment directives (northern district)
• Home Front Command directives
• In 2002, representatives of the various organizations carried out about 15 spot checks at the Klil factory, which fulfilled all requirements completely.
